I was a web designer for 14 years and ran a successful design and development studio for eight years. Time and time again, when speaking with potential clients, I heard horror stories about their projects not getting done (website design and maintenance tasks not being finished, unresponsive VAs, product launches going awry, etc). Therefore, I decided to play a bigger game with my clients and become an Online Business Manager (OBM) so that things DO get done!
My decision to transition into the OBM role really got a jumpstart when I attended a telecall that outlined the 20 attributes of a successful OBM. I wrote them on a piece of paper and that night when my husband came home from work, I shared the list with him, not telling him what the topic was. He looked at me with big eyes and said, “Amy, that is YOU!” And thus the amazing (and, at times, intense!) training to becoming an OBM began.
During this journey, I made the point to surround myself with the most sought after OBM and marketing mentors to help guide and teach me in this new chapter in my life. I have invested in myself and my business on a very deep level (emotionally, mentally and financially) and am excited to share all of this knowledge with you! I continue to stay heavily involved with these mentors and coaches as well as with my fellow OBM community, which allows me access to every resource a client could need. I also bring a unique aspect to the table with my strong background in web design and development.
My success is intricately tied in with the success of my client’s business. I pride myself on being reliable, loyal and completely dedicated. I form long-term authentic relationships with my each of my clients. Given the powerful partnership that I build with a client working on the level of being an OBM, it’s also important to me that we have fun!
I live in sunny and sandy Florida! My husband served for 21 years in the Air Force and retired in 2011. For the first time, we were able to pick where we wanted to live and Florida called our names! As a military wife, I had the amazing experiences of living in Texas, Las Vegas and England. I share my home with my amazing husband, my beautiful daughter, and four very spoiled and pampered dogs.
I am very passionate about animal welfare issues and enjoy spending time reading books, going to the beach and watching movies.
Oh, and if you couldn't tell from the photos, my family and I also like to have a whole lot of FUN!
